Working with Savista Developments

Savista Developments, a leading developer of homes across the UK, have collaborated with their sister company Hallmark Care Homes to provide accommodation for the newest retirement community in Angmering.

Robinson Manufacturing (RML) were tasked with designing the timber frame to be used on the site at Pound Place, Roundstone Lane in Angmering, as well as roof trusses. Tim Griffiths, Senior Timber Frame Manager worked on the design for the structural timber framing for the second floor together with designer Andy Dunning, who designed the trusses for the site.

The site is currently live and regular deliveries have already started.

“It’s a pleasure working on a project of this scale,” commented Tim. “Timber frame plays a great role in the development of these kind of project and it’s always satisfying to be involved in a project that contributes to improving facilities for our older generations”.

Due to open in late 2021, this is a 62-bed care home in picturesque Angmering, located on the southern edge of the South Down National Park in West Sussex. The care home is perfectly positioned in a village location and will impress with its spacious environment. This home will feature all of the state-of-the-art facilities that are typical of a Hallmark care home, such as a cinema, cafe, hair salon, and therapy room. The home will also specialise in dementia care, designed to accommodate the most modern approaches to supporting dementia care.
