WhatHouse Awards Winners’ Reception

With the 2020 What House Awards physical event cancelled because of the pandemic, last night’s WhatHouse Awards Winners’ Reception at Sky Garden Walk was a chance to celebrate the achievements of the housebuilding sector last year in person.

Despite the challenges of the last year, the ceremony itself still went ahead, albeit virtually. The 40th year of the awards was celebrated with celebrity host Romesh Ranganathan and an online audience.

Robinson Manufacturing Ltd (RML) was present to celebrate all the winners but especially to congratulate those who won awards in the Best Medium Housebuilder category, sponsored by the business for the third year in a row by RML, in 2020.

  • Essex-based housebuilders Hill were awarded Gold for the Best Medium Housebuilder category, which Robinson Manufacturing (RML) is sponsoring for a third year. Hill then went onto win the Best Housebuilder award. Founded in 1999 by Andy Hill, the 2020 winner is an industry-leading housebuilder, providing a range of both private sale and affordable housing in London and the Southeast of England.
  • Bewley Homes and William Davis Homes won the silver award for the Best Medium Housebuilder category.
  • The bronze award went to both Churchill Retirement Living and Hayfield.

Congratulations to these and all the worthy winners, and we look forward to seeing you at this years awards on November 19th at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

The full list of winners can be found on the WhatHouse website, and you can download the Judges Report. There is also regular coverage of the awards on our LinkedIn page.
