his is already looking like a very exciting year for us with a mixture of opportunities and a number of challenges we all face right across the UK construction sector.

The next 12 months will bring a number of challenges to UK housebuilding, not least the labour shortage. Competition for good staff is fierce right across our industry. This is likely to drive wages up and put pressure on pricing across the board. We continue retain good staff by making sure they are well rewarded for a job well done, as well as able to access ongoing training and development.

We expect to see a continuation of our steady growth, supported by the opening of our fourth factory, in Abercarn, South Wales, in March. The carefully chosen location allows us to extend our UK market penetration, servicing a wider area, as well as improving our ability to handle the peaks of production we all face at stages throughout the year.

At Head Office here in Wellingborough, we are continuing to build on our centre of excellence through the further development of our Design Office, helping the team deepen their expertise whilst improving our ability to handle the peaks and troughs of demand without hesitation. This depth of knowledge is vital to our customers, who are facing a number of significant challenges in the current market.

A Welsh factory, internal team development and other investments, including a new saw for our Essex branch to new trailers for the fleet department, are all designed to make sure we remain your partner of choice for quality of product AND service.
