Rural Joist Project for RML South East

Robinson Manufacturing (RML) is supplying metal web joists to the latest Cala Homes development based in the picturesque village of Kelvendon, Essex.

The development consists of 238 properties, with 40% of the project being a mixture of shared ownership and rental tenures. The variety of buying options available makes this an attractive proposition for first time buyers as well as families or people looking to downsize.

RML Key Account Manager, Jordan Wagstaff made this comment on working with Cala Homes:

“Building resilient and long-time partnership with a business such as Cala Homes has been a pleasure throughout the many projects we have worked on together. Our values are aligned by the investment in local areas and communities, as well as a shared commitment to delivering the highest of standards. It is great to see these ethics and values being applied to the Kelvendon development.”

Following this, Phillip Wright, Head of Planning and Design at CALA Homes North Home Counties, had this to say on the development*:

“We are delighted to have received planning approval from Braintree District Council for our development at Kelvedon and are now looking forward to delivering a scheme that will not only provide much-needed homes in the local area but stunning areas of green open space for walking, playing and wildlife.”

Construction on the site started earlier in the year, with Cala homes looking to deliver the properties next winter. Further details of our collaborations can be found by connecting with us on LinkedIn.
