RML Invest Further In Training

Robinson Manufacturing (RML) are investing in further training to ensure efficient upkeep of our infrastructure. HSE and Facilities Coordinator, Emma Carr, will be undertaking IPAF 3A, 3B and harness training.

IPAF stands for “International Powered Access Federation” and the training will allow Emma to safely use equipment such as Cherry pickers or Scissor Lifts.

This training will increase the capacity of the HSEQ and Facilities team, allowing for more maintenance works to be carried out in-house, enhancing the skill set within the team. Tasks such as light changes and clearing gutters in our factories can now be handled by Emma, freeing up time and resource in the wider team.

On taking the course, Emma made this comment:

“As a practical person, I am looking forward to the more active role I will be able to play in maintaining our sites. This training is a fantastic opportunity to add to my skills, which I can then apply to my work for the benefit of the business. I am grateful to be working for a company that has such emphasis on developing staff.”
