RML Appoints General Manager
In our continuing drive to develop and educate our talent within, we are delighted to announce that Matt Korny will take on the role of General Manager for Robinson Manufacturing (RML) with immediate effect.
In this new role, Matt will have day to day responsibility, oversight and leadership of all things operational and production on a daily basis, ensuring that there is an over-arching view of the most critical part of the business.
Sarah Horden will continue to lead the design and estimation format and the continued development of our multi skilled and multi ability Design Academy to ensure RML attracts the best talent in the industry but also multi skill our design and estimators across a number of timber engineering solutions within RML and the wider group.
The rest of the current structure remains as is – click here to find out more about our Senior Leadership Team.
Matt’s promotion provides continued succession planning for the next phase of development of the business including, but not limited to, further expansion of our timber frame operations as well as progression of our new joinery operation.
Across the rest of RML’s leadership team we will begin to formalise the positions of those who do a wider role for the Conspargo Group under my continuing watch, stewardship and ownership. Sam Gartside, Matt Davies, Anna Kennedy, Eppie Anderson and Mark Gibson, together with their teams, already have responsibility for cross group functions including Pringle Farm, Pringle Heritage Developments, Pringle Commercial Estates, LimeBee and a variety of other businesses.
This includes our Women in Construction Charity (more to come on this) and continuing work on the intelligence and education part of the Conspargo Group.
CEO of RML and the Conspargo Group, Simon Kidney, explains: “We have such tremendous ability within our teams and it is great to continue to see them all thrive and develop as we move towards our sixth year of stewardship of this fine business, our most successful financial year ever.” He continued: “We wish Matt all the best in his new role – I know he will continue to deliver with excellence as a basic standard, so we look forward to ever increasing ability, agility and continuing to be the pioneers of this sector and the construction sector as a whole.”
