RML And Mental Health Awareness Week
Today, Monday 10th May marks the start of Everymind at Work’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
Here at RML we appreciate the importance of looking after our mental health, which is why Head of HR Anna Kennedy is currently completing a Level 2 Mental Health in the workplace qualification, joining other staff members who have also completed courses on this subject.
Anna has this to say about the course:
“As Head of HR, I have an understanding of Mental Health in the Workplace, so for RML to invest in furthering my knowledge and that of my colleagues on this subject is hugely significant and vital to bringing the conversation around mental health into our industry. I look forward to implementing my learnings for the benefit of staff wellbeing.”
We also understand the value in recognising success in our colleagues, and regularly celebrate them as well as providing access to support and discount platforms (we have two, depending on which part of the business you work for).
One of the top priorities will always be looking after the mental health of those who work with our business, and the training we have put in place has already shaped processes that help us spot changes in behaviour that indicate someone is struggling. This has resulted in positive changes and extra help being delivered where required, and at RML this is a continuous journey where we will only improve and develop our offering on this critical issue.
Stay tuned to our LinkedIn page this week as we follow the Everymind at Work Mental Health Awareness Week Programme.
