Pentaco Construction Customer Support for New Hospital Project

Our business development team provide support throughout the entire customer journey, still holding an interest in customer’s projects after delivery. For Key Account Developer Jason Dorks, this has meant recently attending Pentaco Construction’s charity day for Macmillan cancer support at the site of their Cromer Hospital project.

This project consists of a state-of-the-art cancer care and support centre at Cromer and District Hospital. Our Norwich-based customer Pentaco Construction Ltd won the contract for this build, which has led to the refurbishment and extension of the Davison Unit, an abandoned ward at the hospital. This is being built in partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals Charity.

This collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support led Pentaco to host a Macmillan coffee morning. After supplying our Joists for the hospital, Jason was invited to the event to support the cause and see the progress of this substantial build. Thanks to the generosity of visitors such as Jason, Pentaco raised an impressive £1370 for Macmillan.

As well as showing support for Pentaco Construction, Jason was able to network and strengthen connections with key contacts from across the business. This involved liaising with Commercial Director Ciaran Creegan and Construction Director Steve Brock.

Jason Dorks commented from his experience of the day: ‘It was great to be associated with Pentaco Construction for this fantastic cause. Building on working relationships with our customers is a priority for us as a business and I look forward to working with Pentaco in the future.’
