Molly Inns Joins The Truss Call Off Team

Molly Inns has been with Robinson Manufacturing (RML) since the early part of February, employed on one of over 30 placements RML is currently hosting on the Government’s Kickstart programme, providing 6 months’ valuable work experience to young people.

Her placement is in the Truss Call Off team, where she supports the team with regular customer communication with customers who have scheduled call offs. This is a vital part of our customer experience process – the dates sites work to often change at short notice, and by keeping up to date with this, our production planners are able to schedule our production teams across the country efficiently and ensure we deliver on time.

Molly’s role requires strong communication skills as she has to deal with busy Site Managers, ensure that information provided is accurate and that any changes to dates are logged on our planning systems.

So what’s it like stepping into a new role in a new industry? Molly had this to say:

“I have enjoyed getting to grips with a new industry and learning the terminology used daily. Since starting this job, my telephone skills have developed and I have grown in confidence speaking over the phone to multiple site managers. I look forward to continuing my growth in this role.”

As Molly develops further within the role she will learn about the call off process and how to action call offs on our systems.
