Lane End: An Affordable Housing Development

Northwest-based developers, Lane End, are building 46 homes on behalf of Weaver Vale Housing Trust. The trust has a strong focus on affordable housing and has successfully secured a grant from Homes England. Robinson Manufacturing (RML) has acquired the tender to supply roof trusses as part of this work.

The development will feature six two-bedroom and four three-bedroom homes, along with 20 two-bedroom and 16 one-bedroom apartments. Despite the area being derelict for the last 7 years, there is some history in the location due to the land previously hosting the local post office. To find out more about the project and the history behind the area, you can visit the Lane End website directly.

Jason Dorks, Key Account Manager at Robinson Manufacturing (RML) provided his thoughts on the project and working with Lane End:

“The first plots have been supplied to site and we are rolling out the rest of our delivery in line with the Lane End build plan. I look forward to continuing to work with a dynamic business that has undergone significant growth and champion affordable housing, like RML.”
