IOSH Gets Competitive

Since we first brought delivery of the IOSH Managing Safely training in-house, Robinson Manufacturing (RML) has continued to roll it out to as wide an audience as possible across all site and departments of the business.

To add a little spice to the training, Director of QESH Matt Davies runs a leader board to add a little competition to the mix. In the latest cohort to train and gain their qualifications, we have a new leader – Ella Wilkinson!

With responsibilities including day to day site and contractor management for one of our operations, Ella was already focused on safety or staff and visitors, and the Iosh training has given her added structures within which to manage safely. Matt commented: “Ella absolutely smashed the IOSH exam with an amazing score of 59 out of 60 score

So, what benefits do delegates gain from attending our IOSH training capability course?

They will be able to better understand what their responsibilities are and how they can mitigate or prevent incidents happening a first time or happening again. The training also shows delegates how to complete incident forms for all accidents and near miss incidents. We show delegates how to give more details to provide a better review of risk assessments and how to put additional controls in place, where possible, to reduce the risk of incidents recurring in the future.
