Investment into AssessNET – Our new Health & Safety management system

As part of our programme of continuous improvement, we have recently implemented the highly regarded application AssessNET across the business. This market leading system enables our senior leaders to maintain and build on our high safety standards more efficiently, and provides a platform for managing appropriate records, tasks and duties.

Matt Davies – Our Head of HSEQ – has been the driving force behind the investment

Matt Davies – who joined us as Head of HSEQ at the start of this year – has been responsible for the implementation and roll out of AssessNET. This gives him and our senior leadership team a real-time overview of all actions, and can be drilled down to the level of the individual employee.

The AssessNET platform provides a consistent way for employees to report in any issues that arise and have the confidence in seeing that every problem is being promptly dealt with, helping them to feel safe at work and enjoy their working environment.

By keeping communication strong and ensuring everyone is informed, we are bringing teams together and maintaining a culture of being open to any suggestions for improvement from all levels.

As well as the task management side of the software, AssessNET also provides expertise in areas of risk assessment and training management. This allows us to be more proactive in identifying risks as well as educating employees.

AssessNET is a widely recognised tool used to ensure complete legal compliance and the accreditations gained ensure we are meeting national Health & Safety standards. Their software is used by countless reputable companies such as Ocado, EMH group, Notting Hill Housing and Bedford Borough Council.

We have already seen the benefits of AssessNET and it has been rewarding to see our employees adjust well to the change in our processes. This investment is just one of many stages in the development of our Health & Safety procedures, which we will be providing more details of in the coming months.
