First Week at Robinson Manufacturing
We asked new Marketing Assistant Nicole Millard to describe her first week at Robinson Manufacturing:
As a recent business studies graduate and marketing enthusiast, I was looking for a role in which I could be involved in decision making around how various marketing platforms can be utilised. My new role as a Marketing Assistant at the Robinson Manufacturing central office has allowed me to explore personal areas of interest such as improving exposure through networking and digital presence.
Robinson Manufacturing is a manufacturer of high-quality Roof Trusses and Flooring Joists, in addition to stocking I-Beams and Glulam Beams. They operate under the values of inspire, innovate and deliver, which I witnessed through the trust and autonomy given to employees. The freedom I have been given within just my first week to network with colleagues and customers, in addition to developing my product knowledge has been truly refreshing.
My timing in entering the business seems as if it couldn’t have come at a better time to promote their ever-improving capabilities. The business has almost doubled within the past year, which makes my role even more exciting to be a part of. Consequently, I feel I can really contribute to promoting the business as they now have the resources and highly skilled teams to meet customer demand further as a national supplier.
After already visiting the new site in Wolverhampton and accompanying our Field Technical Manager on a customer site visit, I particularly enjoy the aspect of my job that allows me to travel and meet colleagues and customers alike. Every member of the Robinson family I have connected with so far has been incredibly welcoming and I can’t wait to see where my journey with the business takes me.
