First Order for Cruden Group
With another company we are happy to add to our customer portfolio, a first order of trusses has been received by Cruden Group. As a strong regional housebuilder, Cruden Group have a successful 50-year track record in the provision of building and maintenance solutions throughout the North West.
Middleton Extra Care is a new development designed by architect Eden Building Design to enable older residents to live independently in a safe environment with the support they need. This will include 88 one and two-bedroom apartments for affordable rent, and 10 two-bedroom bungalows for shared ownership. We will be providing our high quality engineered trusses for an 88 Bed care home and 4 blocks with 5 3-bedroom bungalows in total.
Located in the Langley region of Middleton, this site is in the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale. Only 5.5 miles North-West of Manchester, Middleton benefits from the vast shopping areas and facilities on offer nearby in this city of growing popularity.
The scheme, which benefits from £6.5m Homes England funding, will have landscaped gardens and dedicated parking, along with onsite facilities including a restaurant, hairdressing salon, communal lounge, guest room facilities, laundry, treatment room and adapted bathroom.
Cruden Group are passionate about creating and maintaining a sustainable built environment in which people can live, work and play, safely and enjoyably. We are proud to be part of this development which will improve the lives of their residents.
Although production has temporarily paused due to the COVID-19 government guidelines, we are looking forward to proceeding with the design and manufacture for this project – which is due to be completed in 2021.
