Finance Management Accountant in Manufacturing
As the needs of the business have changed due to growth, our Finance team have consequently expanded to suit our capabilities. Part of this change consists of more comprehensive reporting, in order for our Senior Leadership Team to evaluate and make plans for the following month’s objectives. We have therefore appointed Anthony Jane-Gray as our Finance Management Accountant to evaluate the cash flow from our manufacturing activities.
Anthony will be covering invoicing, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, to give a full insight on the business’s current position. Joining us from a surveying company, Anthony has experience in the same position and can apply his knowledge from a large company to RML’s now national stature.
After previously working with our Finance Director Sam Gartside, we are confident in Anthony’s abilities to carry out thorough analysis and work towards more technologically advanced processes. In addition to his full time role with the company, Anthony will be continuing with his Association for Accounting Technicians (AAT) course. Also carried out by our Purchase Ledger Amanda, this is a valuable course to develop skills in book keeping and general cash flow analysis. Now moving onto Level 3 of this course, Anthony has been able to focus on his studies throughout the lockdown period and will be continuing with part time online teaching.
The first weeks at RML for Anthony have consisted of safety inductions with our Head of HSEQ Matt Davies, introductions to our Senior Leaders and clarifying his responsibilities. Our finance team continue to work closely with customers, suppliers and all other departments of the business to achieve timely and well evaluated payment processes.
