Building Efficiencies In The Quality Check Process

With quality standards embedded in all areas of the Robinson Manufacturing (RML) culture, Head of Production Oversight Darren Cross has recently updated the processes around quality checks.

This company-wide update will enable responsibility for quality to be encouraged and distributed throughout the whole production chain. It will allow for clearer tracking of quality throughout the whole process from raw timber to finished product.

In an approach similar to the ‘farm-to-plate’ style tracking of food in the hospitality sector, updated processes mean that RML now demonstrate the standards we apply to our timber engineered products that starts as soon as we source the raw materials.

Part of the new processes involve the use across production of rubber stamps with specific detailing that identify who signed off the quality of the product at each stage.

Darren made this comment on his work to roll out the updates:

“It is always vital to regularly review processes around quality checking to ensure our clients receive the highest standard of product. Robinson Manufacturing (RML) has always placed the customer at the heart of business operations, so developing our system for delivering excellence builds on the existing work we do upholding our strong brand values.”
