Anthony Jane-Gray: AAT Qualification
Robinson Manufacturing’s Management Accountant, Anthony Jane-Gray, has reached the halfway point in his studies for his AAT qualification.
Through the government’s apprenticeship levy scheme, Anthony has been able to conduct his studies alongside his work. It allows him to have one study day a week and attend lectures where required. Anthony will achieve the fourth and final level of the qualification by 2023, and then move onto the chartered accountant qualification (CIMA). He also has this to say about balancing the qualification and his workload:
“It has been a great opportunity to be able to complete training alongside my role here at RML. The qualification demonstrates a commitment to excellence from both me and the business. I look forward to the wider team benefiting from what I am learning and going on to achieve their own qualifications.”
Assistant Management Accountant, Vera Kononova, is also due to complete the ACCA qualification in the same year. This is of a similar level to a bachelor’s degree and once completed, like Anthony, Vera can then move onto the CIMA qualification.
