Accounts Clerk Mihaela joins our Finance Team
Our finance team have seen some important changes this year, including the appointment of our current Finance Director Sam Gartside in April. After overcoming the financial challenges of COVID-19, the team are now working through a busy period to complete their end of financial year reports and prepare for the yearly audit in the coming months. To assist with these next steps and bring a wealth of experience to the finance team, Mihaela Grumazescu has been appointed as an Accounts Clerk.
Joining the team in Wellingborough for 3 days a week, Mihaela will be providing support in sales and purchase ledger activities. After running her own accountancy company for 20 years, Mihaela craved the team atmosphere of working in an office, as the daily operations of her business are managed by 2 employees. As a fully qualified bookkeeper with this vast accountancy experience, Mihaela’s skillset will be a valuable addition to the team.
Although Mihaela has carried out an induction with Sam to learn our processes, her work has started strong after being familiar with our software. Mihaela also joins us with a varied working background, with 12 years experience in Marketing for international companies such as Stella Artois in Romania. After moving to England, she pursued a career in finance to successfully overcome language barriers.
Although she has gained vast experience in her finance career, Mihaela is still keen to develop her knowledge and qualifications. Along with our Purchase Ledger Amanda and Management Accountant Anthony, she is currently working towards her Level 3 AAT course. This course by the Association of Accounting Technicians ensures that all qualified candidates have a comprehensive knowledge of book keeping, with practical application for their roles.
