Every month, Robinson Manufacturing rewards a member of staff who has done something exceptional, whether that’s to help colleagues or customers.
Nominations can be made by any of our colleagues, and the winner is chosen by the leadership team.
For April, the award winners are:
|Winner||Nominated by||Reason for nomination|
|Alex Blythe & Tomasz Prazmo||Mark Smy||Following an issue with a delivery to a customer, both took extra materials to keep the customer happy and ensure service levels were maintained.|
|Tom Taylor||Sarah Horden||Tom has helped out on completing a lot of the smaller quotations, I have moved a lot of work his way and he has just got his head down and worked through, and has even asked if there was any more that he could do. Without his help I would have struggled with the Metal Web enquiries, he has certainly delivered! No doubt the whole Flooring Midlands team are also grateful for his help|
|Shelby Bird||Ant Moreton||Shelby is very thorough with all aspects of her invoicing & pods ensuring everything gets invoiced/nothing missed from month end & always willing to help when called upon. If there are ever any discrepancies she will follow this through until suitable conclusion is reached.|
|George Inglis||Carol Webb||Wolverhampton put an urgent call for stock movement after a supplier issue. As George was returning from an overnight trip to Wolverhampton we thought we would have to hire a vehicle at an additional cost. George came back, dropped a trailer off for inspection, back in to yard, hooked up and went immediately to allow him to get as far back down the road as possible with the driving time he had left. After his break overnight he was in Wolverhampton the next morning with the much needed stock. The Extra Mile in more ways than one|
This month’s awards were as well earned as ever – congratulations!
How do we choose the Extra Mile Award recipients?
The concept of recognising our employees for going above and beyond their day to day job responsibilities with the Extra Mile Awards has recently been reviewed to align it with our Staff Charter.
This gives us a strong and consistent foundation for how we base our nominations, which – by linking our staff and customer value – are now considered against the following criteria:
